Penfield 2013 Fall/Winter Lookbook: "The Coldest Day"

Penfield it’s the type of brand that supplies you with pretty amazing simple garments you need for your day-a-day life. It’s not the brand you will dress on for a Vogue party (well, who knows…) but their jackets are quite iconic.

This is the new lookbook the brand has dropped and I feel like I need a lot of the stuff that you can see in it.

Penfield es la típica marca que te da las prendas simples e increíbles que necesitas para el día a día. No es la marca de la que te vestirías para una fiesta de Vogue (bueno, quién sabe…) pero sus plumíferos son icónicos.

Este es el nuevo lookbook que ha lanzado la marca y me parece que necesito bastantes cosas de las que aparecen en el.

Kith East Coast Project Lookbook

Ronnie Fieg seems to be everywhere with his designs of classic sneakers but now he has go a little bit further creating his own brand called Kith. Inspiring by streetwear and using an interesting palette of colors, the collection has its own collaborations too (like these Gel Lyte III you can see on the pictures).

I’m really feeling this work since I’m a little bit tired of the boys-in-suit trend that seems to be the only thing you can see on the streets of fashion cities. What I was supposed to do with all my rap-inspired clothes? Throw them away and buy new suits? No fucking way.

Ronnie Fieg siempre está por ahí lanzando alguna colaboración con alguna marca de calzado deportivo. Esta vez ha ido un poco más lejos creando su propia marca, Kith.  Inspirada en el streetwear y con una paleta de colores muy interesante, esta colección también tiene sus propias colaboraciones (como esas Gel Lyte III que podéis ver en las fotos).

Me parece muy interesante esta colección porque ya estoy un poco cansado de la tendencia del “caballero de traje” que inunda las calles de las capitales mundiales de la moda y que parece que se ha comido el resto de las opciones. ¿Qué se supone que tengo que hacer con mis cortavientos y mis Reebok Pump? ¿Tiro todo eso a la basura y me compro trajes nuevos? ¡Ni de coña!

Frank Ocean teams up with American brand Band of Outsiders to make the spring/summer lookbook for the company. This brings me to memory some article I once read about fashion editorials and lookbook that doesn´t fuckin’ care at all about the clothes they’re supposed to show!

Frank Ocean already had a relation with Band of Outsiders: he wore a yellow tux at the Grammy’s this year, so they’re no strangers for each other.

Estas fotos me traen a la memoria un artículo que una vez leí sobre como las editoriales de moda y los lookbooks no enseñan una mierda de las prendas que se supone que tenemos que ver.

Frank Ocean ya tenía una relación con la marca desde que llevo un esmoquin amarillo en la gala de los Grammy de este año.

Otro lanzamiento más de mi marca de gorras favorita: MOUPIA. Aún recuerdo cuando hablaba con su creador  sobre la marca y todo lo que había eran telas de muestra y diseños por ordenador… Ahora MOUPIA hace las gorras más originales y que mejor quedan del mundo.

En serio: ¡dadme una gorra de MOUPIA y que le den al resto!
